About
Danny Stone - Founder, Singer and Vocal Coach
Danny Stone brings more than five decades of professional performance experience to the training of independent singers who want a voice that is reliable, expressive, and built for the realities of modern music careers.
Across a career spanning touring bands, television, corporate productions, musical shows, studio recording, voice-over work, and thousands of live engagements, Danny has worked under the demanding conditions of professional entertainment — where vocal stamina, consistency, adaptability, and emotional connection are essential. From intimate venues to productions running seven nights a week, he understands what a voice must withstand outside the practice room.
He has performed tens of thousands of songs across pop, country, jazz, theatrical productions, and commercial entertainment, often while dancing, acting, harmonizing, or leading a band. This breadth of experience gives him a practical understanding of how voices behave under pressure — fatigue, poor monitoring, long sets, travel, stress, and unpredictable performance environments.
Today, Danny focuses on equipping indie singers with the technical foundations that allow artistic freedom to flourish. His coaching is designed for artists writing, recording, gigging, and building careers independently — often without the safety net of major-label resources or formal conservatory training.
Over the years, he has coached hundreds of singers, developing a reputation for clear, no-nonsense guidance that produces tangible results. His method emphasizes efficient technique, healthy vocal use, and practical skills that translate directly to live performance and recording — not just exercises in isolation.
Danny helps indie artists develop:
A voice that holds up across rehearsals, gigs, and recording sessions
Consistent tone and pitch in real-world conditions
Greater range and power without strain
Vocal endurance for long sets and demanding schedules
Confidence built on reliability, not guesswork
Healthy habits that protect the voice for the long term
He also understands a common concern among independent artists: the fear that vocal training might make them sound artificial or “over-trained.” His philosophy is the opposite. Strong technique does not replace individuality — it supports it, allowing singers to express their own sound more freely and sustainably.
After decades of multiple shows per night, year-round productions, rehearsals, recordings, and live broadcasts, Danny’s voice has remained strong and dependable. This longevity is rooted in disciplined fundamentals and a deep understanding of how the voice functions under real performance conditions.
At Danny Stone Voice Production, the goal is simple: to help independent singers build a voice that works when it matters — on stage, in the studio, and across a lifetime of music-making.
